The Los Angeles Police Department issued a warning to businesses and homeowners this week about a rise in break-ins by people using signal-jamming devices. These jammers can easily bypass systems that depend on Wi-Fi to operate, allowing criminals to stroll right into homes and enjoy a personal shopping spree at no cost. Doorbell cameras can also be bypassed with the use of jammers because they require a wireless connection as well.
