How to Correctly Pronounce Mackay Idaho [watch]

Mackay is a city in Custer County, Idaho, United States. In 2010, the population was just a little over 500. Like many Idaho towns, the correct pronunciation of Mackay isn't quite what you think it should be.  Most people understandably say 'MACK-kay."  The town is actually pronounced "Mackie" or MACK-ee with the accent on the first syllable.
