Idaho ‘Brick-Handed’ Power Slapper Quickly Climbing Sport Ranks
Some sports just aren't for people who bruise easily. I get a concussion just watching men and women slap the crap out of each other in a sport that is quickly gaining worldwide popularity, and one Idaho slapper is making a name for himself and leaving competitors in a daze.
Power Slap was created by the face of Ultimate Fighting Championship Dana White. It has been streaming on platforms like Rumble for three seasons now, and the winner is the one who can take it and dish it out best. It's a teeth-rattling, skull-hammering sport, and some people are firmly against it.
People do get very seriously jacked up in this sport, but you can say the same for football and boxing. Concussions can be very dangerous, and many people are turned off by the sport due to the amount of head contact.
I think it was a year or so ago when I first witnessed Power Slap. I would see the reels pop up on my Instagram and think to myself, WHAT THE HELL ARE THESE PEOPLE DOING? Men and women ringing one another's bell in front of an audience of paying customers. I will say, it's a hell of a lot better than wrestling in my opinion.
Chris Thomas, aka "KO Chris," is an up-and-comer in the sport and an Idaho native, according to powerslap.com. He's not the biggest dude out there, but he's got "bricks for hands" according to one writer.

I have no doubt this sport will continue to grow in popularity. Is there a more painful way to earn a buck? If there is, I haven't seen it.
