
Idaho Man Living Out Of Hotel Still Missing After 17 Years
An Idaho man who was going through some personal issues and struggling disappeared the day of June 26, 2008.
The family of a north Idaho man has been seeking answers to his disappearance for over 17 years. The Moscow Police Department has been investigating the strange missing persons case of Philip James Medlin for many years, and was the first agency contacted regarding the matter.
Philip James Medlin was 56 years old at the time he went missing and would be 73 years old today. Moscow is located 10 miles east of Pullman, Washington, just over the Idaho border.
Moscow, Idaho, Man Disappeared From a Motel 17 Years Ago
According to Medlin's profile on The Charley Project website, he weighed approximately 190 pounds and had brown hair and brown eyes. He was being treated for depression, had been arrested for driving under the influence near the time he vanished, and was going through a divorce.

Medlin was declared dead in 2015. No remains of him have ever been found, and he left his car and all his possessions at the hotel.
