Idaho Porn Actress Who Hired Hitman Has Served Half Her Jail Time

An adult film actress who was sentenced to 10 years in February of 2020 for her role in a murder-for-hire plot is approaching the halfway point of her jail sentence. The woman remains in an Idaho federal prison for being found guilty of paying an undercover police officer to kill the father of her child.

I remember the story of Post Falls native Katrina Danforth very well. Before her arrest, she spent years in the adult film industry performing under the name Lynn Pleasant. Danforth is roughly nine weeks away from officially serving half her sentence. In some cases, inmates can be released early for good behavior and because of overcrowding.

Post Falls is 10 miles northwest of Coeur d'Alene in the Idaho panhandle, and where Danforth was living and raising a daughter in the days leading up to the crime. She admitted to paying someone she thought was an assassin to carry out the murder of her child's biological father, according to KXLY News. Danforth was taken into custody at a Washington State airport in 2018.

Another Idaho woman was arrested in a murder-for-hire plot in 2023 for soliciting an assassin on a website; she was sentenced to 90 months.
