So, you want to move to one of the greatest cities in the entire country: Boise.

We can't say that we blame you, considering how great the city of Boise is. It's close to several amazing spots, it's clean, and there are plenty of amazing food spots to enjoy.

Moving To Boise? Don't Be THAT Person

If you're moving to Boise or Idaho for the first time, it's easy to be excited and overwhelmed with all of its greatness. The next thing you know, you're hitting up a Walmart and buying hats and shirts with "Idaho" slapped all over them.

While there's nothing necessarily wrong with that, there are some things you probably shouldn't do when moving to Boise.

We asked locals to share with us what they believe to be the top mistakes people make when moving to Idaho. We took the responses to break down the top five mistakes, but still thought it'd be fun to share some of the honorable mentions that didn't make our list.

Among those was "not knowing how to drive," with one person in particular highlighting the issue of people not knowing how to merge onto our beloved "Flying Y." We're assuming they're talking about people heading out of Boise in rush hour traffic and choosing to exit far right to get to Nampa as opposed to the two far left lanes that curve around toward Nampa.

Or, maybe that's just my personal interpretation based on personal observations.

A few other responses we got included trashing our parks, constructing buildings where there were no buildings before, and, of course, "being from California" was apparently considered a mistake.
