How To Get Banned From Canada While In Idaho
In case you haven't heard, Canada has been in the news a lot lately with President Trump floating the idea of Canada becoming the 51st state in the United States. While there are differing positions on the idea, there is one surefire way to ensure you never wind up in Canada.
How To Get Banned From Going To Canada... In Idaho
We know you might be thinking this is random, but it's absolutely true. The next thing you might be asking yourself:
"What could I do in Idaho that would get me banned in CANADA?!"
If you asked this question to someone on the street, they might guess something obvious, like murder, and they'd be right. But that's not the thing we're referring to.
Another guess might include sex offenders, but even Canada has specific requirements that could potentially allow sex offenders into the country.
But the one thing that can get you banned from getting into Canada?
A DUI.
According to an immigration lawyer with Canada DUI Entry Law, "any American that has been arrested or convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) in the State of Idaho may be considered inadmissible to Canada due to criminality and turned away by security at the border."

The reason for this is that Canadians treat DUI as an extremely serious crime that can pose a threat to their citizens, and we can't say we entirely disagree either.
It only takes someone one time to drive under the influence for them to completely ruin their life or someone else's.
Can you really blame Canada?
(Sorry, we had to.)
