Hunters React To Idaho Fish & Game’s Super Hunt Drawing Results
Idaho Fish & Game's Super Hunt has local hunters crying foul and many felt the drawing was unfair.
"The second wave of Idaho Super Hunt drawing winners have been selected..."
Idaho Fish & Game announced they received a total of 49,125 entries which broke down to 13,737 deer tags, 15,064 for two elk tags, 3,540 for two pronghorn tags, 12,208 or a moose tag, and 4,576 entries for "one Super Hunt Combo, which includes a tag for each of the four species."
The problem is that some hunters felt like it wasn't a fair drawing with some even saying winners of the drawing bought their winning result.
Whatever you believe, Idaho Fish & Game says that they cannot legally share the identities of those who won the drawing:
All winners have been contacted. State law prohibits Fish and Game from releasing the names of the winners.
Winners can participate in any open hunt in the state for the species that they drew, including general hunts and controlled hunts, in addition to any general season or controlled hunt tags they also hold. All other rules of individual hunts apply.
Needless to say, their post on social media about the drawing drew a variety of reactions... here's what people are saying.
