Does Idaho State Police Have The Best-Looking Cruiser In The Country?
Idaho State Police aren't messing around when it comes to their fleet of vehicles. ISP recently shared the news of their new cruiser and also offered a chance for the state of Idaho to show it off.
Pursuit in Style
There has been some discussion around the country about law enforcement calling up Elon Musk's Cyber Trucks to help in their fight against crime. For Idaho State Police, however, they're keeping things traditional with their latest cruiser announcement.
"ISP is excited to introduce our newest member, the Mustang 5.0, to the Idaho community," Idaho State Police shared in a post to social media.
"Sleek, powerful, and ready to hit the streets, the Mustang is here to elevate our commitment to keep Idaho safe and secure."
ISP says that "quick response times" and "dynamic maneuverability" were the key reasons for the choice of vehicle. It doesn't stop there either, ISP is taking it a step further, entering the car in a nationwide hunt for the best-looking police cruiser.
In that same post, they shared:
"Make sure to cast your vote by midnight on Monday, July 29th, in the American Association of State Troopers (AAST) and help us secure the title of America's Best-Looking Cruiser for 2025!"
While voting might be closed, ISP's chances are looking good with their social media post about it nearing 1,000 likes.
Unfortunately, not everyone is a fan of the new cruiser. One of the comments read:
How many Narcon kits and increased community training could have been purchased with what this two-door boy toy cost? Just what we need another high-speed chase death waiting to happen. Seriously. Why does ISP need a souped-up, barely street-legal race car? Planning on taking it to Meridian Speedway as a flag car?
What do you think about the Idaho State Police's new cruiser? Is it the best-looking in America?
