Boise Fire officials described the blaze on social media:
Boise firefighters responded to reports of a house fire on the 3600 block of North Tamarack Drive. When crews arrived, they found heavy fire coming from three sides of the home. Firefighters quickly searched the home and then attacked the fire from both inside and outside the house while other firefighters performed rooftop ventilation. Fortunately, crews were able to put out the fire. Firefighters remained on the scene to extinguish hot spots. There were no injuries reported and no one in the home at the time of the fire.
At this time, the cause of the fire is still under investigation but the overarching sense of relief is clear--crews were able to respond quickly and extinguish the fire with no humans or animals in danger.
