Idaho Football’s Only 2 Wins Are Against Top-10 Montana Teams

Is Idaho Vandal Football offering this year's biggest dose of emotional rollercoaster 'fun' in the entire nation? We have to think they're in the running.

Officially dubbed the 'Miracle in Moscow' just weeks ago, the victorious Idaho Vandals football team was all that the sports media can talk about.

A winless Vandal squad hosted Montana State--defending National Champions. Even the most risky of bettors never would have picked the Idaho Vandals in that game and sure enough, Idaho upset the second ranked team in the country.

With just one second left on the clock, the Vandals are down by 7 points. A quick touchdown pass has the crowd going absolutely insane and while down one point (an extra point would have sent the game to overtime), the Vandals decided to seal it up with a 2-point conversion. Go big or go home, right?

The Vandals went on to continue losing in the Big Sky following the major upset.

Now, some are saying maybe it's a Montana problem!

In a completely unexpected turn of events...again...the 1-win Idaho Vandals football team pulled off (another) upset of the ages. This time, Ono the road at the University of Montana.

Montana, ranked #7 in the country, was an expected blowout winner. Not so fast: apparently Idaho has Montana's number because the Vandals got their second win on the season against their second Top-10 opponent.

Now ranked 8th in the Big Sky, Montana and Montana State have a playoff perception problem and Idaho is the common denominator! Go Vandals!

Could the Vandals be turning around a sour season? Only time will tell, but Idaho football fans have a lot to look forward to as they have finally scheduled Boise State in the next couple of years, returning to the Gem State one of the most heated rivalries.
