Rats: Idaho Database Reveals Most Infested Areas

Here in Idaho we have tons of wildlife. But there's one particular creature that people really don't want to have anywhere near their homes and that happens to be rats...

There are quite a few number of rats here in the Treasure Valley and home owners spotting them are quite unhappy to see these creatures crawling through their homes, yards, and streets. They want to keep the rats far far away.

Now, you can get a heads up on all of the Idaho rat sightings. A new website is giving Treasure Valley residents a chance to alert neighbors about any potential rats in the area. You can report rat sightings, dead rat sightings, rat droppings, and keep everyone else in the know.

The website in question is called the Treasure Valley Pied Piper. According to the Treasure Valley Pied Piper, Boise residents need to be the most worried about the pests because the map shows that Boise happens to be the worst place in the Treasure Valley if you want to avoid the rats!

Out of 838 sightings made in the past 5 and a half months Boise was home to MORE than half of them!!!! Boise may be considered one of the safest cities in America but it doesn't appear you're too safe from rats.

Other cities that followed in the rat spotting numbers were Meridian, then surrounding areas, then Eagle, then Garden City, then Caldwell, then Kuna, then Nampa.

Seems to us that you may be safer in Kuna and Nampa then Boise when it comes to all of the rats!

You can check out the website for yourself HERE.
