Fall in Idaho. It's beautiful, isn't it?

The leaves begin to change color. The weather slowly shifts. Your neighbors are screaming at each other about how one of them put out Halloween decorations way too early.

Fall in Idaho. It's beautiful, isn't it?

Okay then, so when should we put out our Halloween decorations in Idaho?

Well, that's the thing. Nobody can decide.

Depending on who you ask, some neighbors will tell you September 1st is the correct time to begin plotting your lawn with gravestones and spooky scary skeletons. Your more prude neighbors may believe that October 1st is the only appropriate time to spookify your property.

Then, there are the August people.

Yes, there are folks right here in Idaho who believe that your Halloween decorations should be put out on August 1st. For those playing at home, that means said decor would be on display for a grand total of 91 days.

91 DAYS!

Look, we love Halloween as much as the next article writer, but damn. Three whole months of your inflatable Garfield holding a broomstick?

Feels like a lot.
