Kendra Scott Opens First Location at The Village At Meridian
This past Friday, The Village at Meridian had a special grand opening for Kendra Scott.
The new expansion is slowly opening up for business with Alo Yoga and Tacovas opening just days ago. On October 9th, Kendra Scott and Gorjana made their debut in the new expansion, marking the first Idaho location for each of these brands.
Kendra Scott entered Idaho with a special giveback to the community that is welcoming it. For anyone that purchased items during their grand opening celebration on Friday evening, a total of 20% of the purchase went to a good cause–Go Lead Idaho. The non-profit based here in Boise focuses on empowering women through professional development, mentorship, and community networking. The event didn’t lack entertainment; big shoutouts were in order to the band Sweet Briar for their wonderful outdoor performance and MJ mixing those hot turntables indoors.
Kendra Scott Jewelry was founded in Austin, Texas back in 2010. It all started with $500 in a spare bedroom in her home. The name picked up after she had made some business cards that read “Kendra Scott, Jewelry Designer” and as time went on it started to pick up traction as her handmade pieces were getting referred to as Kendrea Scott Jewelry. Kendra Scott now has over 159 stores across the nation and one of those now in Meridian. This also includes the specialized concepts, Yellow Rose by Kendra Scott, that focuses more on a Western-inspired concept.
If we later get a Yellow Rose by Kendra Scott it might fit right in with the other businesses coming soon to the Village of Meridian. Tacovas, which also focuses on western wear. We can also look forward to a new home décor store, Pottery Barn. We should expect these new stores to open up in the early months of 2027.
Looking to explore the expansion? You can find these new businesses on the west side of The Village on the corner of Eagle Rd and Fairview Ave. There’re a total of six buildings being added to this expansion with another wave of businesses yet to come.
