Does Idaho Recognize “National Furries Day?”
There are a bunch of big holidays we recognize annually here in Idaho:
- Christmas
- Presidents' Day
- Labor Day
- National Potato Day (yes, that's real, on August 19th)
This one, however, while it may be a thing, it's not a day you're going to get off work.
Wait. Is "National Furries Day" even a real thing?
Well, kind of! While it's not a nationally recognized official holiday, Furries from all over celebrate National Furries Day every year on August 20th.
Now, if you check your handy dandy Idaho monthly calendar, you'll probably notice a lack of National Furries Day on the 8.20 square. Is that something that will be changing in the future? We don't think so. However, would we take a day off work to celebrate our Furry friends? Absolutely.
