Another text scam here in Idaho? What's the deal this time?

You're not going to like this.

The Idaho Transportation Department is giving Idahoans the heads up about a new scam text message making the rounds. This currently scam basically demands payment for an "outstanding traffic ticket" which clearly never existed in the first place.

ITD would like to point out that they do not send texts about unpaid traffic tickets, fines, or anything like that.

If you've been the victim of this latest scam on your phone, and you'd like to help, report it to the Federal Trade Commission.

Worried that you actually do have an outstanding ticket that needs to get paid? You can check the legitimacy of that right here.
