It's HOT out there, Boise--and it feels as though that dry, Boise, summer heat has ARRIVED.

With temperatures now getting to 90 degrees and above, hands down the most popular and the best way to cool off each summer?

Boise's beloved Roaring Springs Waterpark.

Things might look a little different this weekend, however.

The waterpark is just getting into full swing for summertime with the World Cup on the big screen, movies and live dj's on the weekend, and LOTS of waves waiting to be splashed!

Mother Nature had other plans for this coming weekend and now, Roaring Springs has announced that they will be CLOSED on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Temperatures going into the weekend are unlike anything that we are used to seeing in late June and early July.

Friday, the weather begins to dip, looking like high 70's with a high chance of rain in the forecast. Moving into Saturday, the floor drops out. It will be 64 degrees with a high chance of rain and on Sunday, the forecast predicts a whopping SIXTY degrees! That's right... 60.

It's hard to imagine a time when Roaring Springs would NOT be the best party in town--but at 60 degree outdoors, you won't catch us wanting to run around in our bathing suits!

Expect the weather to quickly rebound into next week and 'the show goes on' at the waterpark immediately. Including 'Dive-In DJ Night' at the wave pool, which on Friday, July 3rd, will be 'Super Hero Night' -- wear a cape or rock Captain America trunks!
