WATCH: Beware of Terrifying and Deadly Carnival Rides at Gem State Fair
The fair is one of the best things there is. Each year, many people get excited to smell the food, stuff their faces, attend the rodeo, check out the animals, browse the vendors, and be entertained. The fair is a great time for the whole family and is something to look forward to. In Idaho, it is currently fair season as each week a new county is hosting a fair, it seems, and soon the fair near you will be happening if it hasn't already. When going to the fair, it is important to be careful on the rides, as one video recently showed how bad and dangerously wrong things could go.
Fair Ride Snaps in Mid Air
A video has been making the rounds on the internet recently as a fair ride in Saudi Arabia snapped in mid-air, injuring 23 people, with 3 in critical condition. The moment had to be terrifying for all who were present, especially for those on the ride. It serves as a friendly reminder that these rides are moved from town to town and put up and taken down in a matter of hours. While, they get checked out and maintenance regularly, they are at risk of having malfunctions and issues. Luckily, there appear to be no fatalities, but would something like this make you want to ride a fair ride again?
Rides at the Fairs in Idaho
The Twin Falls County Fair will soon be happening from August 27 through September 1, and there will be rides that many are excited to ride, but it is important to be smart and safe when approaching these thrills to make sure you don't end up like the video above. The rides are a part of the experience and are a must, but after the video above, do you still want to get on a fair ride? It is a risk anytime getting on these rides, but the hope is that they will remain safe with no issues. For those who have had similar experiences, many choose to stay off of rides that go upside down, high in the air, or go too fast, and instead stick with the safe and more childlike rides.

Hopefully, there will be no instances like the one above at any of the fairs in Idaho this year. The only way to guarantee you are safe is to avoid riding anything, but then you are missing out on one of the best parts about attending a fair, and it only comes once a year. Have fun and be safe, fair season is here.
