Mental health illness is on the rise and people need help on a daily basis. A non-profit organization called Love Yourself is hosting a suicide prevention event at the Perrine Bridge in Twin Falls. It is a great way to share hope and positivity possibly helping those who feel like they have no other options.

Bands At The Bridge In Twin Falls

On September 10th at the Twin Falls Visitor Center and the Perrine Bridge from 6 pm to 8 pm, you can head down and tie bands of hope along the bridge. The bands are there for people who may be suffering from a mental health crisis as a way to try and bring them back from the dark head space that they are in at the moment. You not only will be tying a "Love Yourself" wristband on the bridge but there will also be live music, family-friendly activities, and more.

There are so many resources in Twin Falls if you find yourself in a mental health crisis. The Crisis Center of South Central Idaho provides mental health services and emergency services for adults. Adult Behavioral Health Services has a 24/7 hotline. And you can always text or call 9-8-8 which is the national suicide crisis prevention hotline. Someone is always there to help you.

Please, if you find yourself struggling with life, know that you are not alone, there is always another answer, and if you can make it through one more day you are giving yourself the chance to prove all the negative thoughts in your head wrong. Because they are wrong. You are worthy. You are important. You deserve to be here.
