Major Costco Change to Take Place Soon in ID, WA, and UT

Costco is one of the most popular places to shop in the country, and despite requiring a membership, many don't let it be an issue and prefer to shop at the bulk store. One reason many enjoy it is the variety of products. You can buy groceries, appliances, clothes, toys, medicine, and more. They are also constantly listening to their customers and making changes. While not all changes are welcomed by customers, many are, and it is why shoppers continue to enjoy Costco. A major change is soon to be implemented at all Costco's in Idaho, Washington, and Utah, and some locations have already seen the change take effect.

It was announced earlier in the year that the Costco food court would be making a controversial change as it would switch from Pepsi products to Coca-Cola products. For some, this isn't a big deal, but for avid Coke and Pepsi lovers, it is a major change. Pepsi lover will be disappointed that they can no longer pair their favorite drink with their Costco slice of pizza, hot dog, or chicken bake. For those who enjoy Coke, they can now enjoy their favorite soda selections with their food as they eat at Costco. The change may have been announced months ago, but few had seen any change and began to wonder if it would still happen. But now it is beginning to take place, as some stores have switched over, and most will follow in the coming weeks and months. 

Other Changes at Costco

While changing soda brands is big news, it isn't the only change that has happened at Costco. For those who shop at Costco, you are aware that there are different types of memberships. Most enjoy the cheapest option to do their shopping, while others pay more for certain perks. One change is that those with the executive level membership can now enter the store early to shop before other customers arrive and the store opens for the day. On Saturday, these members can enter the store 30 minutes early, and on any other day, they can enter an hour before everyone else. This is a huge perk as there are no lines, no crowds, and plenty of time to browse before the rush.
