This is the weekend that many have been waiting for. While Halloween isn't until Tuesday, there are tons of Halloween-themed events taking place this weekend. Pounds of candy will be handed out, screams will be heard across the Magic Valley, and there will be so much fun, that it will be impossible to be at everything you want to attend. This is not a weekend you want to be left out of or stuck inside. The weather might be cooling off, but it will not stop many from having fun and enjoying the festivities. Thursday, October 26 Through Saturday, October 28 - Tubbs Berry Farm
If you haven't been to Tubbs Berry Farm yet this year, you will want to head out this weekend before it is too late. There is much to do for the whole family. There is a huge hay maze, slides, an apple blaster, a bounce pad, a petting zoo, hayrides, and much more. The maze adds an extra challenge with having to find shapes on a punch card, that will keep you exploring for a while. There is something for all age groups, including adults. The farm is open on Thursday from 3 PM to 9 PM and on Friday and Saturday from 10 AM to 9 PM. Admission is $10 on Thursday and $12 on Friday and Saturday. Thursday, October 26 Through Saturday, October 28 - Burley Straw Maze
It is tough to decide which mazes are the best in the area, so why not try to make it to them all? They should all be attempted, and one that you surely won't want to miss out on is the Burley Straw Maze. The maze is open Thursday from 4 PM to 9 PM, Friday from 1 PM to 10 PM, and Saturday from 10 AM to 11 PM. Admission is $10 on Thursday, and $12 on Friday and Saturday, with the haunted maze being $14 on Saturdays from 8 PM to 11 PM. There is a zip line, jump pad, slides, food, beverages, and much more. Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28 - Tag 'Em Up Halloween Event
What can make Halloween weekend better? How about some laser tag? Tag 'Em Up is having its second annual Halloween event this weekend at Crossroads Methodist Church in Kimberly. Admission is $5 per tagger and the event is taking place on Friday and Saturday from noon to 10 PM both days. Enjoy working your way through the course eliminating zombies and monsters as you go. Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28 - CSI Ski Swap
While it may be Halloween weekend, that means that skiing and snowboarding season is right around the corner. It is not too early to begin shopping for this year's season. The CSI Ski Swap is taking place this weekend and this is a great place to get the best deals on skiing and snowboarding equipment. If you are starting and want to learn this winter, this a great place to go, or if you are someone looking for newer gear and equipment. Friday, October 27 - Truck Route Harvest Highway
If you are looking for a fun thing to do this weekend, but don't want to get out of your car in the unpredictable Idaho fall weather, make sure to drive out to Buhl for the Truck Route Harvest Highway. Friday, October 27, and Saturday, October 28 - Magic Valley Corn Maze
If you enjoy doing mazes and getting spooked at the same time, you won't want to miss your opportunity to do the Magic Valley Corn Maze. The maze is open this Friday from 5:30 PM to 9 PM, and on Saturday from noon to 7 PM, and then the haunted maze is from dark until 11 PM. There is much more than just a maze though as there is also the pumpkin patch, jump pad, big slide, a petting zoo, a train, and more. Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28 - CSI Volleyball
While many will be focused on the Halloween festivities, other things are happening this weekend, such as the CSI Volleyball team will be in action. The team currently is 21-7 on the season and will look to improve their record this Friday and Saturday. On Friday the women will play Colorado Northwestern Community College at 6 PM and on Saturday they will play Utah State University Eastern at 1 PM. Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28 - The Ha-Haunting Comedy Show
Perhaps being scared or lost isn't how you enjoy spending a Halloween weekend, and rather enjoy the thrill of laughing instead. There is a comedy show taking place this weekend at the Orpheum Theatre on Friday and Saturday. 'Comedy Behind the Curtain: The Ha-Haunting" will be performed at 7 PM on both nights. Tickets start as low as $17.50. The show is intended for adults and will include comedians, Brighton Jenson, Austin Von Johnson, Heath Harmison, Jess Ellis, Matthew Melton, and Mollie Harmison. Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28 - Haunted Swamp
If you enjoy being spooked or watching your friends cry and scream, then make sure to take them to the Haunted Swamp this weekend. This is one of the best and scariest attractions in the Magic Valley and is close to Twin Falls. The swamp is open this Friday and Saturday from 7:30 PM to 11 PM and tickets are $15 for children aged 3 to 7, $18 for children 8 to 11, $25 for people 12 and up on Fridays, and $27 on Saturdays. Saturday, October 28 - Valley Country Store Harvest Festival
Before much of the trunk-or-treating begins on Saturday, make sure to head over to Jerome for the Valley Country Store Harvest Festival. The festival will take place at the Jerome Country Store, located at 1466 South Lincoln Avenue. There will be burgers for only $1 and drinks for only $.89. There will be tons of fun as well, such as face painting, a cow milking station, a bounce house, a train, prizes, and the Jerome cheerleaders will even pump your gas so you don't have to. Saturday, October 28 - Read & Treat
There are plenty of trick-or-treating options or trunk-or-treating options this weekend, but one you may want to check out is the read & treat put on by the Twin Falls Public Library in Twin Falls City Park. The event is from 11 AM to 1 PM this Saturday. Bring your little ones and stroll through the Storywalk and collect candy from dressed-up librarians. Saturday, October 28 - Witches Night Out
Ladies, if you need a night out away from your kids, your husbands, or significant others, there is an event for you to do so and to have plenty of fun. Witches Night Out is taking place at the Historic Wilson Theater this weekend on Saturday, beginning at 7 PM. You must be 16 and older to attend this event, and the first 75 women to buy tickets will receive a Witchy Grab Bag. There will be drinks, treats, dancing, a costume contest, a live DJ, vendors, a crackling contest, and much more. Sunday, October 29 - Trunk or Treat at Bowladrome
There will be many trunk-or-treats taking place this weekend across the Magic Valley, and if you have one you are aware of, make sure to leave it in the comments section on one of our social media platforms. One that is taking place though, is this Sunday at Bowladrome in Twin Falls from noon to 4 PM. Following the trunk-or-treat, at 4:30 there will be a pumpkin carving contest, but you must bring your own pumpkin. Prizes will be given to everyone who participates.
