School has started in the Magic for nearly everyone now, and that means that kids are anticipating weekends more than in the previous three months. Every day was like a weekend in the summer, but with school back, they are now waiting for those days to sleep in, not have to do homework, and not have to go to school. Weekends are much more appreciated when they are earned, which is why each one is valuable to adults. Friday, August 23 Through Sunday, August 25 - 'The Importance of Being Earnest'

While the weather is supposed to be cooler and great for being outdoors, perhaps that isn't what you seek this weekend, instead you might want to head to the theatre. 'The Importance of Being Earnest' will be performed this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Orpheum Theatre, and the classic comedy will have you laughing all through the show. Saturday, August 24 - Market on Main

Many enjoy supporting local businesses in the Magic Valley, and one of the best ways to do so is to attend and shop at the local markets. As fall begins to approach, the days of the markets are lowering and soon they will be gone for the season. Don't miss your chance to enjoy Market on Main this Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM. Saturday, August 24 - Fused Glass Basics Class

Are you someone who enjoys making things? Have you ever tried fusing glass? It is a unique art that can be taught, and this weekend is your chance to finally learn. Hands-On, located at 147 Shoshone Street in Twin Falls will be holding a fused glass basics class this Saturday from 10 AM to noon. Saturday, August 24 - Throw For Cancer Cornhole Tournament

Most people enjoy a casual game of cornhole, but if you want to put your skills to the test and benefit a great cause, make sure to enter the Throw for Cancer Cornhole Tournament happening this Saturday. The tournament will begin at 11 AM and will be happening at Rock Creek Park in Twin Falls. Check-in begins at 10 AM and the bags will begin flying at 11 AM. Saturday, August 24 - Movie Matinee

Going to the movies is a blast, but as everything goes up in price, it makes it tougher to go to the movies, especially if you have a bigger family. Instead of paying all that money, why not see a movie for free? Yes, it is an option at the Twin Falls Public Library. On Saturday at 3 PM they have Movie Matinee, where you can enjoy a movie for free. Saturday, August 24 - Magic Valley Speedway Bike & Big Wheel Races 4 Kids

If you want to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend and have some fun, how about heading to the Magic Valley Speedway this Saturday? They will be having Bike and Big Wheel Races 4 Kids, with gates opening at 5 PM and the races starting at 6:30 PM. Tickets are $14 for adults, kids 7- 11 are $8, and 60 and older are $12. Saturday, August 24 - Dueling Pianos

After a long week at work, you need to have some fun. What better way to relax and have some fun than having a drink and listening to live music? Dueling Pianos will be happening this Saturday night at KOTO Brewing Company in Twin Falls, located at 156 Main Avenue in Twin Falls. The event will begin at 7 PM, and if you have never experienced Dueling Pianos, you won't want to miss it. Sunday, August 25 - Loteria and Drag

If you are looking for a fun time and drag is your thing, or perhaps you have never been, this weekend marks a great chance for you to go to a drag event. Loteria and Drag will be happening this Sunday at Yellow Brick Café in Twin Falls from 11 AM to 1 PM.
