Another week down, another week closer to Christmas and the end of the year. As the week comes to a close, it is time to once again forget the stress of work and focus on Christmas shopping, decorating if you haven't done so, and holiday events around the Magic Valley. No place does Christmas events like Southern Idaho, and the weekends are a joy this time of year because of them. Bundle up, jump in the car, and head out to Burley this weekend for the Burley Straw Maze Lost in Christmas. It is the time of the year to enjoy getting lost in a maze of hay lit up in Christmas lights and enjoy some fun outside. Get the kids out of the house and let them use that built-up energy. The maze is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday this weekend, with admission being $8 per person. There will be food. drinks, a mechanical bull, a wagon ride, swings, and you can even buy your Christmas tree. Get out for some fun this weekend.

Bethlehem is coming to Twin Falls this weekend with 'Come to Bethlehem' this Thursday through Saturday at the Church for Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 541 Orchard Drive. 'Come to Bethlehem' will consist of nativity viewings, a Christmas concert with a choir and orchestra, and much more. The nativity viewings will be taking place nightly from 5 PM until 7 PM and concert times will vary by day. You can click on the link in the paragraph to see all the concert times this weekend.

If you are looking for a night out, a date night, or perhaps looking to get out of the house, yet stay warm, make sure to head to the CSI Fine Arts Theater and see 'Almost, Maine' this weekend. The show is taking place Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with show times being at 7:30 PM, and tickets being $10 or free for CSI students with an ID. The show features nine vignettes of couples searching for and exploring love in and around the small fictional town of Almost, Maine, and is touching, funny, and entertaining. Head to the theater and take in this wonderful show this weekend.

Grandy's Christmas Craft Show is back this weekend and will be taking place this Friday, December 9, and Saturday, December 10. The show will be open from 8:30 AM until 6 PM on both days and will be taking place at Snake River Sprinklers, located at 20386 Hwy 30 in Buhl. This will be the second weekend of the show, and if you are unable to make it this weekend, you will have one final chance next Friday and Saturday. The show is full of Christmas décor that you won't see anywhere else and is worth the drive out west to Buhl. Look to continue your holiday shopping by stopping by.

The annual Festival of Lights Christmas Parade will be taking place this Friday, December 9 on Main in downtown Twin Falls beginning at 6 PM. The parade is a tradition in Twin Falls and one that every resident needs to attend at least once. There will be candy thrown out, presents handed out, beautiful lights, and a fun time for the whole family. Make sure to head downtown this Friday and get a good seat for the Festival of Lights parade.

The show will be held at Roper Auditorium in Twin Falls and will consist of storytelling, laughter, and music.
