CALDWELL, ID – Idaho State Police (ISP) are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Monday, November 11, 2024, at 4:13 P.M., near the intersection of East Homedale Road and Compass Way in Caldwell.
Driver Identified as Local Resident
According to ISP, a 43-year-old woman from Caldwell was driving a 2006 Honda Accord westbound on Homedale Road when her vehicle drifted off the north shoulder and collided with a tree.
Driver Pronounced Dead at the Scene
Tragically, the driver succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Authorities confirmed that she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Idaho State Police (ISP) are investigating an ATV accident that left a Boise man with life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred late Friday, November 8, 2024, at 10:56 P.M. near the intersection of Buckskin Rd. and Moore Rd.
The 48-year-old was driving an ATV equipped with a snowplow westbound on Buckskin Rd. when the vehicle struck an object in the roadway. The impact threw the driver from the ATV, causing severe injuries. He was transported to a local hospital via ground ambulance.
ISP was assisted at the scene by the Valley County Sheriff’s Office, Donnelly Ambulance, and Donnelly Fire.
