Fatal Crash North of Parma Under Investigation by Idaho State Police
Idaho State Police (ISP) is investigating a two-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a passenger on Tuesday evening, January 28, 2025.
Crash Details
The crash occurred at approximately 7:03 p.m. on US95 at Highway 20-26, just north of Parma. According to ISP, a 2014 Honda Civic, driven by a 24-year-old male from Nyssa, Oregon, was traveling northbound on US95 with a 22-year-old passenger. Meanwhile, a 2021 Toyota Rav4, driven by a 25-year-old female from McLouth, Kansas, was heading southbound on US95. The collision happened when the Honda attempted to turn westbound onto Highway 20-26.
One Fatality, Two Hospitalized
Tragically, the passenger in the Honda succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The driver of the Honda was transported to a local hospital via ground ambulance, while the driver of the Toyota self-transported to a hospital for evaluation.
Authorities confirmed that all occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

Traffic Delays and Investigation
The crash blocked the intersection for approximately four hours as crews worked to investigate and clear the scene. ISP was assisted by multiple agencies, including the Idaho Transportation Department, Canyon County Sheriff’s Department, Parma Medics, Payette County Sheriff’s Department, and Payette County Paramedics.
