Don’t Miss These 8 Events Taking Place This November Weekend in the Magic Valley

No holidays, no candy, none of that is happening this weekend. This weekend will be about finding fun activities that have nothing to do with Halloween, Christmas, or Thanksgiving. There might not be a holiday this week, but there are still plenty of fun events to enjoy this weekend in the Magic Valley, and one elsewhere in Idaho. Thursday, November 7 Through Saturday, November 9 - CSI Men's Basketball

The CSI men's basketball team started their season last weekend and is currently 2-0. They will look to continue their winning ways this weekend as they will host the Battle for the Boot. The tournament will be happening this weekend, with the team playing multiple times. Games will be played on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Friday, November 8 and Saturday, November 9 - Cowboy Poetry

If you are someone who enjoys poetry and enjoys all things Western and cowboy-related, then this weekend has the perfect event for you. At the Historic Wilson Theatre in Rupert, they will be holding Cowboy Poetry and the Western Music Festival. The event will be happening on Friday and Saturday with showtimes at 6:30 PM each night. Friday, November 8 Through Sunday, November 10 - CSI Harvest Time Festival

In Twin Falls, the holiday shopping season kicks off early with the 46th Annual CSI Harvest Time Festival at the Expo Center, running November 8-10. With over 200 artists, crafters, and vendors, it’s the perfect opportunity to start your Christmas shopping. Admission is $4 per day, or snag a weekend pass for $8. Kids 10 and under get in free, and veterans are honored with free admission on Sunday. Friday, November 8 Through Sunday, November 10 - 'Once: The Musical'

With fall weather arriving and making it cooler outside than most would like, staying indoors is a valid option this weekend. If you want to get out of the house, while staying indoors, there is a musical taking place you can enjoy this weekend. 'Once: The Musical' will be happening Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Twin Falls Theatre Collective, located at 310 Main Street in Filer. Tickets are $20 and showtimes are at 7 PM on Friday, and 2 PM and 7 PM on Saturday and Sunday, giving you multiple chances to go this weekend. The Magic Valley is home to some incredible plays and musicals, and this weekend will offer the chance to see one as 'Little Women The Musical' will be performed at the Orpheum Theatre. Saturday, November 9 - Holiday Cards in Watercolor

Saturday, November 9 - Boise State Vs Nevada Football

The Boise State Broncos currently rank as the 12th-best team in the country, with only one loss on the season, to the currently ranked number one team. They are having a special season, and their march to the playoffs continues this weekend as they host the Nevada Wolfpack. The game will be played in Albertson's Stadium in Boise, with the game kicking off at 6 PM.
