Do not fret, you can still go to the Burley Straw Maze and get lost, but this time with Christmas lights in the maze. Lost in Christmas is now open on weekends, and will be open Thursday through Saturday from 5 PM to 10 PM all three nights. Admission is $8 per person, but there is more than just the maze. There are also wagon rides, the swing ride, Christmas trees, if you still need one, a bull ride, and of course food. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be at the first Christmas? To see Jesus born all those years ago and to be in the manger? You can go back in time this weekend and experience the Living Nativity in Twin Falls, as you go back to Bethlehem and see how things were all those years ago. The Living Nativity will be happening this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM all three nights at 1267 Madrona Street North. The event is free, but everyone is encouraged to bring a canned food item, that will be donated to food banks in the area. Do your kids still need to get a gift for their siblings, their mom, or their dad? Perhaps they are getting to that age that they want to do the shopping on their own. Well, this Friday they can in Buhl at the Kid's Christmas Shop. Collective Studio in Buhl, located at 115 Broadway Street, will be closing the store to the public from 3 PM to 7 PM on Friday for kids to shop for Christmas. There will be a seating area for parents, so kids can go and browse and shop and pick something out all on their own. The event is $20 per child, and that will include 15 'Santa Bucks,' to buy their gift, plus they will wrap it, sign a card, enjoy a hot cocoa bar, Christmas music, and do a mini craft in Santa's workshop. One of the best parts about the holiday season is Christmas music, and while it is great to hear on the radio and in stores, there is something magical about hearing it in person. The Magic Valley Chorale will be holding their Christmas concert this weekend, with two chances to attend. There will be a show this Friday at 7:30 PM, and one on Saturday at 2 PM. The concerts will take place at the CSI Fine Arts Center. This weekend is the weekend you have been waiting for, as it will be Free Learn to Ski Day at Pomerelle this Saturday. You must be 7 or older, and these lessons are for 'never-evers,' meaning you have never ever tried to ski or snowboard.
