The holidays are a time of giving. While many people enjoy receiving gifts, the joy of giving can sometimes be even more satisfying. Many want to give as a way to say thank you for a year of hard work, for love, for caring, for being a good friend, coworker, or family member. Many places and people donate and give during the holiday season, like giving toys to those in need, food to those who are hungry, and donating warm clothes to those who don't have them to stay warm during the winter. Not only are citizens giving, but so are companies in the Gem State as well. One company in Idaho will be giving back to the public this month and is giving away free cases of food to anyone who wants them.

It is that time once again. The Annual Chobani Yogurt Giveaway is happening and will be taking place this Saturday, December 6, at CSI. The giveaway will begin at 8 AM this year and will last until around 11 AM or until supplies run out. They will once again be giving away 5,000 cases as they have every year. This includes a case of yogurt as well as a case of flip yogurt. This is a great way to get some free snacks for the holidays, especially if you or your little ones enjoy yogurt. You can donate it, keep it, or use it as you please.

For those new to the Magic Valley or who perhaps have never heard, there is an annual giveaway each December where Chobani gives away a free case of yogurt to the citizens of the Magic Valley as a way to say thank you for an amazing year and to give back. It is free to get these cases of yogurt, and anyone can get them. Cars will enter campus from the stoplight at Falls and Quincy and will weave in and out of the parking lot before arriving at a truck that will hand vehicles a case of yogurt, as well as a case of flip yogurts, and cars will then exit campus and go on with their day. Cars will line up early, so it is recommended that you arrive early. Wait time will depend on when you arrive, which direction you come from, and how many show up.

Make sure to stop by the CSI campus this Saturday when out running errands, on your way to your child's sporting event, or jump in the car and make a special trip so you can get a free case of yogurt to enjoy this holiday season. If you do not plan on getting any Chobani this Saturday, it is best to avoid Falls Avenue between the hours of 8 AM and 11 AM.
