Another week is ending, but this one is different than most. This week has been 'Holy Week' and even if you aren't religious or don't celebrate Easter, it is hard to deny all the festivities and all the fun waiting this weekend for families to get out and enjoy. It is a weekend that many look forward to each year filled with fun, family, and great memories.

This weekend will be packed full of events in the Magic Valley, and you won't want to miss out on all the fun. Here are the events to get out and enjoy this Easter weekend in the Magic Valley.

All Weekend - Easter Egg Hunts

The Magic Valley doesn't have only one Easter egg hunt during the holiday weekend, but instead has so many that it is impossible to make it to them all. Many families have their favorites that they prefer to attend each year and if you plan accordingly you can hit up a decent amount of them. They take place throughout the area at different times and on different days.

Saturday, April 19, and Sunday, April 20 - 13th Annual Easter Cantata

All are invited to the 13th Annual Easter Cantata: Beside Still Waters, put on by the Kimberly Idaho Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. April 19th and 20th at 7:00 pm. 3850 N 3500 E, Kimberly. Free admission.

Come celebrate the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior - Jesus Christ, as presented by a 84 member choir and 20 member orchestra accompanied by a visual presentation of over 90 pictures and videos from artists of many different faiths depicting the life of Jesus Christ.

Thursday, April 17 Through Saturday, April 19 - Animal Days

One of the best events of the spring is back and is happening this weekend. Animal Days will be taking place Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the Burley Straw Maze. Animal Days will be open from 9 AM to 8 PM on Thursday and Friday and from 10 AM to 7 PM on Saturday. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the gate.

Thursday, April 17, and Friday, April 18 - Edgar Allen Poe Speakeasy

If you are a fan of Edgar Allen Poe, there is an event this weekend you will not want to miss. An Edgar Allen Poe Speakeasy event will be happening this Thursday and Friday at 360 Event Center in Twin Falls. Tickets are $55 for the event and there are multiple chances to attend.

Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19 - CSI Baseball

Baseball season is in full swing, and the CSI baseball team will be playing at home this weekend. It should be a nice weekend to get out and cheer on the team. They currently are 28-20 on the season and lost their most recent game.

They will look to rebound this weekend when they play Utah State University Eastern in a 4 game series on Friday and Saturday. The games on Friday will be at noon and 2 PM, and the games on Saturday will be at 11 AM and 1 PM. For more details on the team, make sure to click the link above.

Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19 - CSI Softball

It should be a pleasant weekend to be outdoors, and for those who don't have small children to go to Easter egg hunts or want something else to do besides that, how about heading out to enjoy a softball game? CSI softball will be in action on Friday and Saturday, hosting a 4 game series against Snow College.

Friday, April 18 - Tipsy Bingo Night

Who doesn't enjoy playing Bingo? It is always fun, anticipation grows as each number is called, and the joy of shouting 'Bingo' is an excitement everyone should experience. This weekend you can play for free and enjoy some wine at Holesinsky Vineyard and Winery.

Friday, April 18, and Saturday, April 19 - 'Willy Wonka Kids'

Going to the theatre is never a bad way to spend an evening or afternoon and this weekend you can do so and enjoy 'Willy Wonka Kids.' There will be multiple shows this weekend with a show at 7 PM on Friday and two shows on Saturday at 2 PM and 7 PM, all happening at the Orpheum Theatre.

Saturday, April 19 - Easter Egg Stravaganza

Many love to create Easter decorations and crafts, and this weekend you will have the opportunity to do so at the Easter Egg Stravaganza at Hands On in Twin Falls, located at 147 Shoshone Street North. The event will be at 11 AM and will be $18 per person. It will include painting two ceramic eggs, pictures with the Easter bunny, and an Easter snack.

Saturday, April 19 - Family Easter Celebration

Easter may be happening on Sunday, but there are fun events on Saturday to celebrate the festivities. This Saturday make sure to stop by Lighthouse Church for their Family Easter Celebration. The event will be taking place from noon to 3 PM. There will be games, relay races, a bounce house, food trucks, candy, live music, and much more. Saturday. April 19 - Movie Matinee

Going to the movies isn't as affordable as it used to be. Between the tickets, popcorn, and drinks, the movies can easily cost over $100 depending on the size of a family. That is why it is a good idea to go to the movies for free and you can do so this Saturday at Movie Matinee at the Twin Falls Public Library. Each Saturday at 3 PM the library shows a free movie and this week they will be showing 'Coco'.

Saturday, April 19 - Easter Paint & Sip

Easter weekend is here and while it can often be about the kids, that doesn't mean adults can't have a little fun of their own. If you are looking for a fun way to spend the weekend, head on out to Holesinsky Vineyard and Winery on Saturday for Easter Paint and Sip. It will be happening from 3 PM to 5:30 PM and is $40 per person.
