Stores Closed on Easter in ID, WA, and UT

Easter is fast approaching and will be here soon. While not everyone celebrates, many do and look forward to the holiday. Easter egg hunts, jellybeans, chocolate bunnies, and Easter baskets full of goodies are always something for parents to look forward to. It can be a stressful time getting everything and setting everything up for parents, and it is easy for things to slip through the cracks and forget something. You may want to make sure you have everything you need this year before Easter because many stores will be closed on the holiday this year.

Costco Closed on Easter

Many may be surprised to find out that Costco will be closed on Easter this year, but they shouldn't be. The popular retail store actually closed for Easter last year for the first time, and will do so again in 2025. While this isn't ideal for those looking to do some shopping on their day off, you will need to get it done on Saturday or wait until they reopen again on Monday.

Is Target Closed on Easter?

Another big brand store that will be closed on Easter is Target. Like Costco, they too closed for Easter last year for the first time and will do so again this year. If you need anything last minute that you forgot, Target will not be an option for you this year. 

T.J. Maxx Not Open on Easter

T.J. Maxx is a great place to find things for Easter. It is typically more affordable and there always seem to be hidden gems you don't expect to find. While it would be great to run in and get any last minute items you need, you won't be able to do so on Easter as they will be closed for the holiday. 

Is JC Penney Open on Easter?

If you are someone who struggles with what to wear on holidays, or perhaps you have a stain on your Easter clothing, you will need to head home or to another store to find a replacement, as JC Penney will not be an option on the holiday. Make sure to be safe or have your outfit picked out days before. 

Dick's Sporting Goods Closed for Easter

With Easter on a Sunday, it is great day to get out and run errands, but if you were hoping to get your child some sporting gear for the spring or to go and look at their workout equipment, you will have to do so before or after Easter Sunday.
