Local Concert Promoter Donates Surplus Products to Shelter

Gordy Schroeder of Gordy’s Highway 30 Music Fest, along with sponsors including Swire Coca-Cola, delivered surplus Coke, Sprite, and water left over from 2024's Highway 30 Music Fest to the Twin Falls Valley House.

“There’s so much negativity in the world; how about something positive?” said Schroeder, explaining just one of the many reasons why Highway 30 Music Fest appreciates the opportunity to give back whenever they can.

Gordy, along with sponsors and Valley House volunteers, unloaded pallets of product left over from 2024’s Highway 30 Music Fest. This not only prevented the products from going to waste but also contributed to a worthy cause.

Schroeder humbly mentioned that he hesitates to make a big deal out of donations like this, but he feels it’s important to share stories of generosity in hopes that others will be inspired to do the same and to help spotlight charities like Valley House and all they do.
