There are only 52 weekends in the year, and some can be boring, but others are like this weekend. This is one of those weekends that many in the Magic Valley have had circled for months. There are celebrities visiting town, multiple sports events, exotic animals, and a tea party as well. This is the weekend you want to get out of the house and attend as many events as you can. Thursday, September 11 and Saturday, September 13 - CSI Women's Soccer

The CSI women's soccer team is off to an undefeated start this season. They are currently 2-0 after defeating Truckee Meadows Community College 3-0 last weekend. They will look to continue their undefeated streak this Thursday and Saturday. On Thursday, the women will play Pacific Northwest Christian College in Jerome at 1:00 PM, and on Saturday, they will play North Idaho College in Jerome at 11:00 AM. The CSI men's soccer team will also be in action this weekend after getting its first win of the season last week, when it defeated Truckee Meadows Community College 2-0. This week, they will have two home games to try to continue their winning ways. Their first game will be Thursday, at 3:30 PM against Pacific Northwest Christian College, and then they will take the field again on Saturday at 1:30 PM against North Idaho College. September 11, 2001, was one of the most devastating days in history and is one that many of us lived through. The Magic Valley does a special Magic Valley 9/11 Memorial Event each year to honor those who lost their lives. If you have never seen the big flag flying over the canyon, it is a must-see. There will be a memorial and patriotic celebration on Thursday at 5:30. There will also be a veteran flag cruise on Friday at Centennial Park. Do you have a little princess or prince who enjoys tea parties and Disney princesses? If so, you will want to take them to the Princess Tea Party happening this Friday and Saturday at the Historic Wilson Theatre in Rupert. There are three chances to go, with the first being on Friday at 6:30 PM. There are then two chances on Saturday at 11 AM and 3:30 PM. Tickets are available for $25 for general admission or $40 for VIP. Tickets include a princess tiara, a cupcake, and a meet and greet with the characters after the show. The softball season at CSI may not be until spring, but they do still play games in the fall as well. The CSI softball team will start its fall scrimmages this weekend with two games taking place on Saturday. With it expected to be a beautiful weekend weather-wise, why not get outside and take in a game or two? The first game will be at 10 AM against Southern Thunder, and the second game will be at 2 PM against UFC-Hudson. This Saturday offers a great chance to explore the campus, have fun, and enjoy CSI. CSI Eagle Fest will be taking place this Saturday from 11 AM to 2 PM and will have a petting zoo, the challenge course, food trucks, live music, free activities, and more. Every Saturday at the Twin Falls Public Library, they have a Movie Matinee. A chance to see a free movie, but this week is different. Typically, Movie Matinee is at 3 PM, but this week it will start at 2:30 PM, and they will be showing 'How to Train Your Dragon: Hidden World'. What makes this week so special is that after the movie, Justin Rupple, who voices Tuffnut in the movie, will be doing a Q&A with those in attendance.
