Thursday, December 11-Saturday, December 13 - Grandy's Christmas Craft Show
Holiday shopping is in full swing, and everyone is getting into the holiday spirit. The best way to shop this holiday season is to support local businesses, and there is no better place to do that than at Grandy's Christmas Craft Show. We all know the story of Christmas and why we celebrate. No, it isn't presents and Santa, but the birth of Jesus Christ. Have you ever wondered what it was like back then? You can experience it this weekend as you go back in time to Bethlehem and go to the Living Nativity. The event will be on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and take place from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM each night. The event is free, but they do ask for a canned food item to donate to a local food pantry. Friday, December 12, and Saturday, December 13 - Lost in Christmas
Do you enjoy mazes? Have you ever done one lit up by Christmas lights? The Burley Straw Maze is currently open for Lost in Christmas. This is your chance to get out and have fun navigating a giant hay maze lit up to reflect the holiday season. They have more than only the maze, though, as you can also go down giant slides, ride the mechanical bull, go on swings, go on a wagon ride, do the zipline, and much more. Friday, December 12 - Orton Botanical Gardens
Do you enjoy looking at Christmas lights? One of the best places to see them in Twin Falls is at the Orton Botanical Gardens, and this Friday, you will be able to walk through the garden for free. They ask that you bring an unused, unwrapped toy to donate, but even without one, you can enjoy the gardens, the lights, have free cocoa, free cookies, and even see Santa. Everyone seems to enjoy Christmas music, movies, and plays. If you want to get into the holiday spirit even more, make sure to go to the Orpheum Theatre this weekend and enjoy a Christmas musical.
