Restaurant in the Magic Valley Now Closed For Good
The Magic Valley is not immune to seeing restaurants come and go. Over the last few years, many popular chains have left the Magic Valley, and many places have moved in, stuck around for a short time, only to disappear. For some places, it is no big loss, while others sting a little bit more. Each place leaves for different reasons. Some leave due to a lack of business, some leave due to corporate going a different direction, and some leave due to corporate going out of business altogether. After months of rumors, one place in the Magic Valley has closed its doors, and it has left many sad and disappointed to see it gone.
Outback in Twin Falls Closes
Rumors have been circulating for nearly a year that Outback would be on its way out of the Magic Valley. There were rumors that they may relocate, they may stay open for a few years to fulfill their contract, or that they would close to make room for a popular hamburger chain. After months of speculation and circulating rumors, it has happened. Outback in Twin Falls officially closed and served its last customers on Saturday, August 23. Many would assume this confirms the rumors, but for many, it will be time to grieve the loss of a restaurant that served the Magic Valley for 25 years. On Sunday, August 24, a few customers sat outside waiting for the restaurant to open, not knowing that they would not be let in that afternoon.
Outback in Twin Falls
It has been discussed for months that the location of Outback would turn into the new In-N-Out, and with the closure having now happened, the rumors will ramp back up. It is known that it is the desired location, but with Johnny Carino's also closed, there are more options available to the popular hamburger chain. Time will tell what becomes of Outback, but as of today, it is still standing and still looks like it could be open for business tomorrow if it chooses to be. As of writing, the only sign on the door from Outback is one that was posted on Saturday stating, 'Sorry, we are closing early this evening, thank you for your love and support.' According to one employee, the staff was given a one-day notice that they would be closing and that Saturday would be the final night.

Many are left disappointed to see the popular chain leave town. Outback will be missed in Twin Falls, and we thank you for your years of service, and wish all the staff the best moving forward. Now the Magic Valley will wait to see what happens next.
