Major Store Closing All Stores on the Same Day in ID, WA, and UT

Going to the store is a chore that many dread. You have to go every so often to make sure you have the essentials like milk, eggs, bread, toothpaste, and toilet paper. Typically people will run to the store for one or two items on their way home from work, or perhaps they have a day of the week that they prefer to go due to their schedule or to avoid crowds. Many get into a routine of going to the store, which is why it can throw a wrench in someone's routine when they find out that their preferred store is not open. One major store is closing all of its locations on the same day in Idaho, Washington, and Utah, and customers are upset. 

Target Closing All Locations on the Same Day in Idaho, Washington, and Utah

Before you freak out, no, Target is not going out of business. They will be closing all their locations on the same day, just as they did last year. In 2024, Target decided to give its employees the Easter holiday off and closed all of its stores for Easter Sunday. This year, they have decided to do the same and will grant their employees time off with their families, despite it irritating and upsetting some of their customers. Like many, their employees want to be home for the holiday, and they will be able to do it once again. If you have any needs from Target this weekend, you will need to stop by the nearest store either before Sunday or have to wait until Monday. 

Stores Closed on Easter Sunday in Idaho, Washington, and Utah

Target will not be the only chain closed on Easter as many other popular stores will be as well. Dick's Sporting Goods will be closed, TJ Maxx will be closed, and Costco are all on the list of places you will not be able to go to on Easter. It makes it great for those that want to spend time with their families, but hurts those that don't, as the excuses to be late or not show up have been minimalized. This Sunday will be tough for those who enjoy going out and doing their shopping on Sundays but for this weekend it is ok to stay home, spend time with family, and enjoy the holiday instead of running errands. Make sure to get everything you need before Sunday, and if you forget anything you can go to another store, or you don't need it until Monday. Enjoy Easter weekend, because employees at Target and many other stores will be enjoying not having to work.
