As Twin Falls continues to grow, new businesses continue to move in, neighborhoods are expanding, and more and more buildings are being added to the area. It isn't only Twin Falls, as multiple towns in the area continue to grow in population and expand. As more people move into the Magic Valley there will need to be adjustments by the towns that make up the area, but there is one expansion and adjustment that needs to be made sooner than later that is yet to happen.

Twin Falls Airport Needs Adjustments

The bigger Twin Falls and the Magic Valley get, the more a bigger airport is needed. When residents choose to travel, they have to drive nearly two hours to Boise or three hours to Salt Lake City. While it isn't that bad, it adds to travel time, which typically already makes for long days. When someone is flying to the East Coast, they are looking at multiple hours and stops in the air, while adding hours of drive time as well. When returning, it is nice to land, and be home in a relatively quick time, instead of having to drive two to three hours to finally be back in the Magic Valley. Twin Falls is home to an airport, but not as many use it as you would think. Perhaps some adjustments would help the airport, as well as the residents of the Magic Valley.

Expanding the Twin Falls Airport

The airport currently offers limited flights and is limited on which airlines come through the area. One of the other issues is because of the limited options and supply and demand, the prices are typically higher. This is one of the main reasons that so many decide to look elsewhere, but also the limited options. While the Twin Falls airport will never be a massive airport like big cities, it could offer a few more airline options and destinations. Lowering the prices a tad or keeping them similar to Boise and Salt Lake City would benefit everyone as well, as more would use the airport in the Magic Valley, and the residents would appreciate not having to drive so far to fly to their destinations. There is plenty of space to expand if the Magic Valley is willing to invest a little into their local airport.

A lot would need to happen to make this a possibility, but it is something the Magic Valley should consider, especially as the area continues to grow. Those who decide to pay the extra money and use the airlines that the Twin Falls airport offers would likely prefer things continue to be less crowded for a more relaxed flying experience and less crowded flights, but for other residents who are tired of the drives on top of flying, now is the time to demand a change be made. Having a friend drop you off at the airport would also be nice as an option instead of paying for parking as well. Here is to hoping it will happen sooner than later.

Places To Get Really High Around Twin Falls

Since marijuana is still illegal in Idaho, you can’t legally walk down the street and get high, but there's another way to get high around Twin Falls that is much more socially acceptable.

Honest Twin Falls Welcome Signs

I'm pretty certain that most people don't fully understand what 'Twin Falls' actually means. On that note, if Twin Falls had an honest welcome sign: what would it say?
