Fourth of July is fast approaching, and that means it is time to get things prepared. It is time to buy fireworks, time to get food, and time to figure out plans for the holiday. It also means coming up with a plan for the Sagebrush Days Parade happening in Buhl, which takes place every Fourth of July. The parade is a tradition for many families and is one of the best parades that takes place all year, but this year, the parade will be a little different, and if you aren't aware of the changes, you might miss the parade altogether.

Sagebrush Days Parade in Buhl

For many families in the Magic Valley, no Fourth of July is complete without attending one of the biggest and best parades of the year, which is the Sagebrush Days Parade in Buhl. Many families have a spot where they like to sit every year, and it is tradition to sit in that spot. Sadly, this year many families will have to make adjustments as the parade route has changed, and sitting in your old spot could cause you to miss the entire parade. Due to safety and to help a smooth traffic flow, the route has changed and will be coming down Broadway this year, starting at Holly Street and ending at Clear Lakes.

The parade will still begin at 10 AM as it has most years, and it is recommended you do not attempt to park on Broadway. Side roads leading to Broadway will be closed off beginning at 9 AM on the day of the parade. As always, you will want to put your chairs out early to secure a spot, which is a tradition for the parade. Make sure to be respectful of the residents in Buhl by not parking on private property or damaging anything in town. The city of Buhl is seeking volunteers to help with road closures. Make sure to adjust accordingly so you aren't left sitting on a side street, while the parade is happening a few blocks away. For all the details, make sure to check out the post shared above. After a long year, it is almost time for one of the best parades of the year once again. Happy Fourth of July.
