Twin Falls ID Spirit Halloween Store Now Open!

While this past weekend was overshadowed by the awful reality of what happened Saturday in Twin Falls, for fans of the 'season of the witch,' the city welcomed the opening of the Spirit Halloween store in a familiar location.

I was at the mall Saturday afternoon at 3 P.M. as the chaos was unfolding across Blue Lakes Boulevard North from us involving a shooter at large who claimed three lives and injured seven more. Area law enforcement personnel ran past me heavily armed and into the mall to secure the area.

Several businesses were on lockdown, including one that opened just hours before the first 9-1-1 calls began at approximately 2:30 P.M. on August 1.

Spirit Halloween Was One Of Several Twin Falls Businesses On Lockdown Saturday Due To A Mass Shooting At In-N-Out

Spirit Halloween opened in the old Shopko building at the Magic Valley Mall on Saturday, but had to close shortly after once reports of the shootings across the street began flooding dispatch. The address is 1649 Pole Line Road East in Twin Falls.

Last year, the store opened in the old JoAnn Fabric and Crafts location at 840 Blue Lakes Boulevard North, but now a new business occupies that spot.

The best thing I saw while walking the Spirit Halloween store on Sunday was the six foot tall Freddy animatronic from Five Nights at Freddy's that retails for $500. It's magnificent, but too rich for my wallet at the moment.
