Thousand Springs Festival Of The Arts Returns For Family Fun
The Thousand Springs Festival of the Arts returns this weekend for some amazing family fun and a display of great talents. The festival focuses on sharing different forms of art created locally and so much more.
When Is the Thousand Springs Festival Of The Arts
It is this weekend, Saturday, September 24th, and Sunday, September 25th. On Saturday, the hours of operation are 10 am to 6 pm and on Sunday it is 11 am to 5 pm. Last year over five thousand people attended the event. It is located on Ritter Island at Thousand Springs State Park.
Live Music Schedule
On Saturday, September 24th Josh Summers, Mayalei Yates, Michael Frew and Friends, Taura Leigh, Boll Chisolm, Cristal Magnetics, Northleft, Crazy Love, and CSI's Mosaic Jazz Band will all be performing at different times on two different stages.
Massive Art Scene
Over 100 artists are going to be featured in the art scene in the park. Some of the art includes handmade jewelry, birdhouses, blown glass, crafts, paintings, and so much more. There is going to be so much to see and you can purchase some items as well.
Other Things To Look Forward To
There will also be plenty of food options. Kajun Pot is going to be there along with Kona Ice, Mikey's Kettle Korn, and Java Island. There will be more vendor options as well. Plus, they are offering kayak and canoe rides. Horse-drawn wagon rides and blacksmith demonstrations are on the agenda as well. Overall it is going to be an amazing event where there is something for everyone.
It is important to celebrate those who have talent and can create magnificent things. Supporting local people who work hard to create is incredibly rewarding.
