Twin Falls County Fair Happening This Month in the Magic Valley

It is that time once again. School is back, football is on the television again, and the Twin Falls County Fair will soon be happening. Over the last few weeks and months, multiple fairs have been taking place around the Gem State, but now is the time for the Twin Falls County Fair, and residents in the Magic Valley couldn't be more excited and ready. There is much to be excited about each year, and this year is no different. This year has seen some changes, and there are new attractions to see at the Twin Falls County Fair, as well as some things that may be missing.

When is the Twin Falls County Fair?

Everyone has a different reason for going to the fair. There are many events taking place throughout, including rides, vendors, food, and animals all to enjoy, as well as shows throughout the day. This year, the fair will be happening from August 27 through September 1. Tickets to the fair are $8 for adults and $6 for children aged 6 to 12. Carnival tickets are available in advance and can be bought for $26, but do not include fair admission, or for $32 can get carnival tickets and fair admission. There is plenty of entertainment at this year's fair and some changes to expect as well. 

What is Happening at the Twin Falls County Fair 2025?

This year, the fair will host the Magic Valley Stampede PRCA Rodeo on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. For many, this is the reason to come to the fair, but it won't be the only entertainment this year. On Sunday night, Josh Turner will be performing, and on Monday night to close out the fair will be Monster Truck Insanity Tour. While these are the big events, there are others as well. New to the fair this year will be pig racing, where you can catch three races per day as these little pigs run as fast as they can around the track. Another change will be that Tater Pigs, which has been at the Twin Falls County Fair for over 70 years, will not be back this year.
