Twin Falls Has Far Too Many of These Businesses: Is it a Problem?
Twin Falls is rapidly growing and that means many new businesses are moving into town. It isn't uncommon to see a new shop pop up or a new restaurant on the corner. The city will continue to add new things as the population rises. Not only will new businesses move into the Magic Valley, but some places will want second locations or a competitor may move in that offers something similar. One type of business has been growing in Twin Falls recently, and it is fair to ask if Twin Falls needs this many massage places and if we are that stressed.
Massage Places in Twin Falls
Massage places in Twin Falls have been in the news this week and for all the wrong reasons. Sadly, they give the industry a bad name, and not all places that offer massages are bad. They can be a great way to relax, to help with any pain, and a great way to mentally and physically release stress. Have you ever noticed how many massage places are around the area? In the last year alone, there were two added on Addison, although they were a part of the raid this week, and a new one is set to open on Fillmore Street soon. Three new massage places in a year in a town the size of Twin Falls seems like a lot, and begs to ask, are we that stressed?
Where to Get a Massage in Twin Falls
The good news is that if you need a massage in town, there are plenty to choose from and odds are one is near your work or home. If you have a bad experience, you can always try a different place and see if you like it better. After this past week, many might be afraid to get a massage, but if you do your homework, there is nothing to worry about. These places are visible from the street, but many other places offer massages that might be working out of private locations, that will travel to you, or perhaps a spa or nail salon that you didn't realize offered that type of treatment. We can all use a day to relax or help with some aches and pains from time to time, but do we need more than 20 massage places in one town? Instead of these types of places, we could use a variety of stores that we don't have.
Twin Falls will continue to add new businesses moving forward, but please, no more massage places. There are plenty already. Some might be going away after what occurred earlier this week, but even with the loss of a few, there are still plenty of options. If you need a massage, do your research and find the place that works best for you, or ask your partner or spouse for one to be safe. There are good masseuses in the area though and they shouldn't suffer because of some bad places.
