Traffic Signal Replacement at Addison Ave and Washington St Intersection

Starting at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15, both southbound turn lanes on Addison Avenue at the Washington Street South intersection will be temporarily closed. This closure allows contractors to replace a traffic signal that was damaged in a vehicle collision earlier this year in January.

The City of Twin Falls expects the installation to be completed by 9 a.m. on Wednesday, October 16. Once the work is finished, all lanes will reopen, restoring normal traffic flow. Drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible or plan for delays and detours during this time.

City Asks for Public Cooperation

The City of Twin Falls appreciates the community's patience during the project, emphasizing that the work is necessary for maintaining the safety of the city's roadways.

For a measure of good news related to road construction, you'll be pleased to know that the Kimberly Interchange project at I-84 exit 182 at The Garden of Eden Truck Stop is now all but complete. From a traffic standpoint, you should be able to navigate the area without any obstructions or detours.

Workers Remain In The Area - Please Drive With Caution

Even though the construction is complete, some equipment and workers will remain in the area until crews finish cleanup. Idaho Transportation Department asks that you keep that in mind as you drive into and out of the 182 exit.
