More Freezing Temps Forecast for Southern Idaho This Week
Mild Week Ahead with Another Freeze Expected Thursday Night
After last week's freezing temperatures — which didn’t bring snow to the valley — this week is looking relatively mild. However, Southern Idaho is gearing up for another freeze Thursday night, so it’s a good time to prepare for colder conditions once again.
Last Week’s Recap
While we saw the anticipated dip in temperatures, snow stayed away from the valley. The nights were cold, but the lack of snowfall left outdoor areas clear. This week brings another freeze and a reminder to get things winter-ready, especially since Twin Falls City is in the process of shutting off pressurized irrigation to neighborhoods. Now is a great time to blow out your sprinklers before the hard freeze sets in.

What’s Next?
With freezing temperatures returning Thursday night, it’s a good time to protect any sensitive plants and outdoor equipment. As we’ve mentioned before, Twin Falls City is in the process of shutting off pressurized irrigation, so make sure to blow out your sprinklers before the cold hits.
