The holiday season is here, which means days to get everything done before Christmas are ticking away. Some events are annual traditions for many families, and others are new this year. Thursday, December 4 and Saturday, December 6 - 'Julian's Christmas Vision'
There are some incredible classic Christmas musicals and plays that people enjoy each year, and from time to time, new ones emerge as well. If you want to enjoy a Christmas musical that perhaps you haven't seen before, check out 'Julian's Christmas Vision', being performed at the Orpheum Theatre this Thursday and Saturday. Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6 - Grandy's Christmas Craft Show
If you look for a place to do some Christmas shopping where you can shop and support local, and find items you won't find anywhere else, make sure to check out Grandy's Christmas Craft Show. It will start on Friday and take place on Saturday as well, from 9 AM to 5 PM both days. They will be closed on Sunday but open the following week. Friday, December 5 & Saturday, December 6 - Those Two Chicks Holiday Bazaar
With the holiday season comes lots of shopping and shopping events. Stop by Those Two Chicks Holiday Bazaar this Friday and Saturday at the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds. They will be open from 4 PM to 7 PM on Friday and from 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday. Entrance is free, but everyone is encouraged to bring a toy to donate to Toys For Tots, as well as there will be a scavenger hunt, and a chance to take pictures with Santa. Friday, December 5 - Festival of Lights Parade
The holiday season is a special time in the Magic Valley, and one of the best events every year is the Festival of Lights Parade in downtown Twin Falls. The parade will be happening this Friday and will begin at 6 PM. The parade will come down Main Street in downtown, and it is best to arrive early to get a good spot. Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6 - CSI Men's Basketball
The CSI men's basketball team is off to an incredible start this season. As of this writing, they are 10-0 and ranked number eight in the country. This weekend, you will have two chances to watch them play as they host the Wright Physical Therapy Shootout. The team will first play on Friday at 7 PM against Eastern Arizona College and then again on Saturday at 7 PM against Odessa College. Saturday, December 6 - Chobani Giveaway
Who doesn't love getting free food? This Saturday, make sure to stop by the CSI campus and get a free case of yogurt during the Chobani Giveaway. The giveaway will begin at 8 AM and go until 11 AM or until supplies last. Cars will enter campus at the stoplight on Falls Avenue, and the event is a drive-thru event, so you can stay nice and warm in your vehicle. Saturday, December 6 - 'A Christmas Carol' Community Read Along
Normally, on Saturday, there is a Movie Matinee at the Twin Falls Public Library, but this weekend will be different as the library will be having a 'A Christmas Carol' community read-along. Saturday, December 6 - St. Nicholas Festival
Start the holiday season off right by attending the St Nicholas Festival in Kimberly this weekend. This annual event is happening on Saturday and will begin at 3:30 PM. There will be beautiful nativity displays, musical performances, and fun activities for all ages. Obviously, St Nicholas himself will be at the event and will be giving a gift to a special child, and there will be fireworks to end the night. Saturday, December 6 - Drop-Off Date Night
During the holidays, many of us have Christmas parties, need a date night to spend time together as a couple, or need time away from the kids to do some Christmas shopping.
