What would you do? What would you do if you had to choose between giving up guns and giving up meat in the state of Idaho? Both are a major part of living in the Gem State and giving up neither would be ideal. For some the answer is easy, but for most Idahoans, this question will have them pulling out their hair. Some rely on both in everyday life, some deal with neither, and some only enjoy one of the two. If forced to choose between giving up guns for the rest of your life or meat, what would you do?

When it comes to living in Idaho, odds are high that you own a gun, your neighbor owns a gun, your coworkers own them, and people in church likely own them. They are a big part of living in the Gem State, and not only do most have them, but often are actively carrying them. They are great for protection and are likely why there aren't many shootings in Idaho, because entering a home would not end well here. They are also great for hunting. Idaho has a variety of animals to hunt which makes for some of the best hunting in the country. What would you do though, if you had the gun, saw a tag, but couldn't enjoy the meat?

Have you ever had an elk burger? If not, you are missing out. There are plenty of elk in the state of Idaho, making these burgers decently fresh. Idaho is home to some incredible burger places, and steak houses, and is the trout capital of the world. There is some good meat to eat in this state, and not being able to enjoy it would be a shame. The cruelest of all would be if you are a hunter, to own a gun and get a tag, but not be able to enjoy the fresh meat you can get. It seems contradicting to own a gun and not eat meat in Idaho.

It is a choice that no Idahoan would want to make, but if forced to, how do you decide? Giving up meat would be to miss out on some of the best food. To give up guns, would be un-American and be tough for many Idahoans. If you had to choose to give up guns or meat, what would you do?
