What Would You Do? Bring an Extinct Animal Back to Idaho

What would you do? What would you do if you could choose to bring one animal or living creature from the past, back to Idaho? Would you choose something destructive? Would choose something cute? Would you choose something you have never seen in your lifetime? Many animals once roamed the earth, and many have gone extinct, never to be seen again. If you had the power to bring one of these animals back and have it roam Idaho freely, what would you do?

Recently it was revealed that the dire wolf is back and three of them are currently in existence, with the hope of reintroducing more to the planet in the future. It was also announced that after bringing back the dire wolf, scientists are hoping to bring back the mammoth in the year 2028. With these creatures returning that have not existed for tens of thousands of years, one has to think, what will be next, and what should be next? The dire wolf is a popular choice due to it being similar to the grey wolf and the popularity of them from the show 'Game of Thrones.' If you could choose an extinct animal to bring back what would you choose? 

Creatures Coming Back From the Dead in Idaho

With the mammoth and dire wolf already taken, what should be next? A sabretooth tiger would be a cool introduction and seems like a possibility with its similarity to other big cats. Bringing back the do-do would be exciting. The most exciting possibility would be to bring back a dinosaur of some sort, but which one is the question, and would it be able to survive in today's world? Seeing a triceratops would be exciting, or seeing a brontosaurus. Instead of bringing back some from centuries ago, you could bring back something more recent such as the white rhino, and help raise the population once more.
