What would you do? What would you do if you could go out and enjoy the final week of summer without money being an issue or any concern this year? Would you stay in Idaho or go on a trip somewhere else? Would you stay home and relax and get ready for fall, or would you go out and have some fun? Would you go camping, fishing, and hiking, and be active? Would you go do fun activities or try to rest and relax? Summer break is winding down, and many are trying to squeeze out the final days before school starts up, but what is the best way to end summer in the Gem State?

With less than two weeks to go until school for many in the Magic Valley, time is running out to enjoy summer vacation. If you haven't gotten away this summer or spent time with your kids, now is the time to do so. How do you spend the final days, though? Shopping for school supplies and clothes is on the list, but before you get to that, how do you have some fun one final time? For some, this may include going camping, fishing, kayaking, hiking, or getting the boat out this weekend. These are some of the best ways to spend a summer day in Idaho and a great way to take advantage of the summer time one last time before everyone gets busy heading into fall. You could go do something fun, like head to Lagoon in Salt Lake City or head to Roaring Springs in Boise before it closes for the season. Are you deciding to leave town altogether for a few days?

Instead of making a day trip, how about going up to Coeur d'Alene and enjoying Silverwood Theme Park, one of the indoor waterparks, or hanging out on the lake? You could take the time to relax and stay home and enjoy some time with your child watching movies, resting, playing video games, and doing what they enjoy with them while you step away from work. You could fly or drive to the West Coast and enjoy a few days away from town or lounging on the beach one last time before school begins, and you can take a trip without them missing class. Summer can often fly by, and if you feel you haven't spent enough time with your kid this year, now is the time to do so.
