What would you do? What would you do if you found a great deal on a trailer or boat that you have been wanting, but still had debt you wanted to pay off first? Do you do the responsible thing and try to get some things paid off and put off buying a new toy, or do you take advantage of the great deal and accept your debt will be bigger moving forward? Would you take out another loan or run your credit card up more? Would you rather have fun and deal with the money later, or be sad, missing out on fun while seeing your bills get lower? It is a tough choice, but what would you do?

Buying a Boat or RV in Idaho

Idaho is a state where owning a boat or an RV makes life more fun, especially during the summer. During the warm days of the year, there is nothing better than taking a boat out on the Snake River or out on one of the beautiful lakes and tubing, skiing, fishing, or just enjoying a few hours on the water, floating, swimming, and jumping off. The problem is that boats cost a lot of money, and buying one will put you into debt for years. The same goes for an RV. With more cold days than warm in the Gem State, an RV is a better way to go than a tent when it comes to camping, allowing you to go more and stay warmer. Again, they aren't cheap and put you into debt, but both boats and RVs are worth it and get plenty of use in the Gem State.

The housing market is going up, the economy isn't getting any better, and the cost of living has gotten more expensive over the last couple of years. Many residents in Idaho work hard to pay their bills, and some hope to one day get completely out of debt, which, for most, is wishful thinking. Debt never seems to go away, and when you get one thing paid off, another bill is there waiting. While the idea of paying off some of that debt is nice, it isn't that simple, with interest usually making it tough. When you have the chance to put a dent into it and lower your monthly bills, it is a feeling unlike any other and is extremely rewarding. Having to decide to pay off your car, your home improvement project, or your phone or credit card can be tough, but being free of those feels good. But is it better than owning a boat or an RV?

Many in Idaho who don't have a boat or RV hope to get one someday, but the reality is that other bills stop them from doing so. If you had the chance and found a great deal on a boat or RV, would you take it, or would you continue to work on your debt and buy one once it is much lower? What would you do?
