The Twin Falls County Fairground is the New Home of Christmas in the Nighttime Sky
The biggest Christmas event in Idaho, and the official kickoff to the holiday season in the Magic Valley, has a new home this year. The annual Christmas in the Nighttime Sky event is moving to the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds after being hosted for decades at Kimberly Nurseries.
In addition to the location change, the event will have a few other changes to make it even better for visitors.
Christmas in the Nighttime Sky Will Be at the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds This Year
The event that kicks off Christmas in Southern Idaho will happen on Friday, November 28th, at the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds. The move will make parking easier, there will be heated buildings for your visit with Santa and his friends, there will still be plenty of outdoor bonfires and seating during the event, and this year, there will also be vendors on-site.
The fireworks will be amazing, as always, and choreographed to music on the Christmas Station KOOL 96.5.
Timeline for the 2025 Christmas in the Nighttime Sky Event
Christmas in the Nighttime Sky will be the day after Thanksgiving, November 28th, at the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds. The event begins at 5:30 PM with the free chili and potato dinner served until 7 PM. During that time, you can enjoy the warmth of a bonfire, listen to live music or visit Santa in the merchant buildings, and check out the vendors. Fireworks are scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM.
Admission is one new and unwrapped toy per family. These toys will go to kids ages infant to 16 years old in the Magic Valley. Without your toy donations and attendance, this event could never be as beneficial as it is.
Also, a huge thanks to the sponsors who donated time and money to make the event possible: Elite Accounting, Idaho Central Credit Union, KMVT, Coca-Cola, Watertec, Middle Man Marketing, Aspen Sounds, The Cochran Group at Keller Williams, HUB Townsquare Media, Kimberly Nurseries, and the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds.
