Sometimes things go wrong and there’s no recovery, you just have to move on and try again. But a play in the latest BSU game against New Mexico, things went wrong…and then they went very right.

During the 4th quarter with 7 and a half minutes left in the game, BSU was attempting a field goal when the snap went south and punter Oscar Doyle (the receiver of the snap) tossed the ball to Troy Grizzle for a 10-yard touchdown pass. It’s a great play to watch, even when you know what is going to happen.
The failed kick turned touchdown play wasn’t the only moment of excitement on The Blue. Early in the game New Mexico returned a 104 yard kick return for a touchdown, then took the lead with an alligator roll run into the endzone. BSU followed with two uncontested touchdowns and then the moment of magic happened.
Boise State and New Mexico each got one more touchdown after the field goal turned touchdown play to end the game with a BSU win 41 to 25.
